Description: Hertford Regional College are looking to recruit a Programme Administration Lead (Apprenticeships) to oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of administration tasks for HRCs apprenticeship programmes. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate experience of providing effective administrative management, an understanding of internal systems and procedures and have a track record in providing information / data that helps underpin operational decision-making, programme delivery and quality processes. The ideal applicant will also have experience of learner (eportfolio) and employer (CRM) data management. Description: Skills Coach (Light Vehicle/Heavy Vehicle) Kent. A Skills Coach plays a key role in working with both employers and learners in the achievement of Level 2 & 3 apprenticeship frameworks in a number of technical and non technical areas, together with the requirement to further develop and create further opportunities within all Skillnet programmes. Technical - Heavy Vehicle, Light Vehicle, MET, Bus & Coach, Traffic Office, Warehousing, DGV, Sales, Body & Paint, Parts Main Tasks & Accountabilities All requirements of the role of Skills Coach are delivered in accordance with established Skillnet procedures.

  • Recruitment of new learners to employer apprentice schemes.
  • Conducting thorough work place induction for all new learners.
  • Visiting learners in the work place to carry out workplace reviews, assessments, gather evidence, assess progress, observe work practices and update learner records.
  • Inform, guide and advise as necessary regarding training, welfare and discipline.
  • Conduct Health & Safety monitoring and vetting of employers to ensure adequate facilities, insurance.

Job title: Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Part time – with the possibility of leading into full time for the right candidate

Salary: Circa £16,000 pro rata

Description: We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant who would welcome the opportunity to work at our Dunstable centre in, supporting our 16-18 year old learners with a particular focus on construction. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the classroom tutor
  • Working with small groups and 1:1 support
  • Supporting literacy and numeracy
  • Help manage pupil behaviour
  • Help pupils to access the curriculum
  • Support the co-ordination of work experience for students
  • Be able to use a PC effectively and have good knowledge with using Microsoft e.g. word

Applicants that are qualified or have previous experience in a school or education setting would be preferred however, we are willing to support the right candidate. Some experience or a qualification in careers guidance would also be advantageous.

Description: Hertford Regional College are looking for Programme Delivery Team Assessors with specialist skills in a range of vocational areas; Electrical Installation. Ideal Candidates will enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised and have the ability to use their own initiative to manage their caseloads. As a Programme Delivery Team Assessor, you will support the successful attainment, via the application of effective training and assessment practices, of timely outcomes for learners. You will have occupational industry experience, good knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks / Standards and will be qualified to assess in the workplace. You should also be able to support the delivery of underpinning knowledge and have experience of classroom management. Successful applicants will be able to participate in the planning and development of Apprenticeship programmes. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, passionate about working in partnership with other organisations to join the Strategy and Innovations Team of Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS). The postholder will ideally have experience in project management or extensive experience in adult education or Community Learning. They will be responsible for managing the project ensuring that targets are met and will oversee all activities carried out by the project partners responsible for curriculum delivery.

We are looking for a highly motivated and well-organised individual with experience in adult curriculum design to join the Strategy and Innovations Team of Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS). The postholder will be responsible for designing the curriculum in partnership with four organisations from the voluntary sector and four district councils and for monitoring the quality of the curriculum delivery throughout the project.
